Meet the Speaker: Daniel Govaer, EVP of Product
Daniel Govaer will lead the majority of UNLEASHED26’s breakout sessions alongside the VINCUE Performance Management team, bringing a nationally recognized voice in retail vehicle operations and automotive turnaround strategy to dealers on the floor.
Daniel doesn’t just advise dealership operations; he’s run them, rebuilt them, and made them profitable. Across 20-plus years of leadership, from AutoNation Libertyville Toyota to Mercedes-Benz and beyond, he’s built a track record few can match. At Mercedes-Benz, he more than doubled a decade’s worth of historical net profit in five years, scaled used-car departments to top-10 national CPO rankings, and implemented rolling 30-day turn strategies. He routinely acquired and sold high-line exotics, including a one-owner, 80-mile LaFerrari Aperta for $5.2M, and the recon workflows he built are still in use across rooftops today.
Beyond the store, Daniel hosts The Wheelhouse podcast and publishes DGActual, a Monday signal-intelligence brief for automotive retail leaders: market data, recall intelligence, and dealer-first analysis, before the desk. His focus never changes, demystify what’s broken, build what works, and leave behind systems that make success sustainable.
